AHHHH! Where do I begin?! Bixi and Spencer were absolutely amazing hosts! They are so kind, patient, and informative about farm life! The pool and hot tub were so relaxing AND beautifully decorated. The view from the pool area is STUNNING! We could not get enough of the mini cows, alpacas, donkeys, goats, and chickens! There are lots of games to play as well as a lovely fire pit area for s’mores and hanging out. We’re so blessed to have experienced cow cuddles and excited for many more! We loved this experience SO much we’re already planning our next trip and will definitely become regulars. Thank you to Howe Ranch for a beautiful core memory (and mini cow therapy!). Rating: 1000/10!!!

Great farmer for a day experience!
My 3 kids and my wife and I loved every minute at this camping farm. The 5 micro and mini cows were incredibly friendly, and feeding the babies a bottle of milk and having them eat from our laps was a unique treat. The 2 donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks, and farm cat were all wonderful. The couple who run the farm are extremely caring and attentive, and there is an evening and morning session where they take you around the farm and allow you to get close and personal with all the animals. The experience was truly great!

This was the perfect trip to de-stress and unwind.
Spencer came to greet us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the ranch. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful and informative. We loved every minute of the pool and the view. That night we got hands-on time with the cows and donkeys, and I got to bottle-feed one of the baby calves. In the morning, we had more time interacting with the animals before heading out.

Howe Ranch was absolutely lovely. The decor and amenities made for the perfect glamping experience. I loved how much free time we got with the livestock and how involved the hosts were. The location provided the seclusion we were seeking on this trip while remaining close to luxuries like coffee shops and restaurants. If you visit in the summer, definitely snag a pool pass during your stay—it comes with a killer view!!

Spencer was very welcoming and informative. Cows are super friendly! We loved that we were given the opportunity to feed & brush the cows. There’s lots more to do! We definitely recommend visiting the Ranch.

The “glamp” site makes for a mini urban escape to paradise: for those who like petting zoo animals. If you enjoy petting a rooster’s feathers, picking up goats the size of lab retrievers, or giving an oversized baby bottle to Petunia, the baby cow, you'll love it here. Highly recommend for a night or two of glamping and relaxation.

We recently had the most wonderful experience at Howe Ranch where we got to pet farm animals and even had the unforgettable opportunity to feed a baby cow named Petunia. This unique and charming experience was truly a highlight of my trip. Relaxing by the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and sharing stories with fellow campers made the trip complete.

Wonderful Hands-On Experience.
We had an amazing time! The hosts were extremely accommodating. It was fun getting to know the other campers, learning about the animals, and utilizing all the amenities. Happy & beautiful ranch.
So restful Our trip started off a little stressful (we got in later than planned & we forgot our tent!) BUT Howe Ranch is truly a magical place! Bixi & Spencer are warm, welcoming & wonderful people. The Jacuzzi was awesome, the scenery & gardens are incredible. Spending time with the animals and being educated about farm life was so refreshing. It is truly a gem & offers many types of experiences, from camping to events like weddings.

Finally got to get up close and personal with farm animals. The highlight for sure was being able to bottle feed the baby highland Petunia. The available campfire at night, making s’mores with my kid was fun as well.

Our 3-night stay was great.
We fell asleep to the sound of toads from the pond and in the morning got to bottle-feed the baby goat, Itty Bitty. The hosts were friendly and happy to show us around to the animals. Less than 10 minutes to the grocery store and 20 minutes to hiking trails. This property has great areas for camping.

The hosts were very kind and hospitable and clear with the directions and rules of their property. The animals were so nice to interact with. My grandson told me this was a 5-star campsite and that's really what we were aiming for on this weekend!

Excellent Farm stay!!
Spencer and Bixi were amazing hosts. The farm is a bit of a private oasis as the animals are chill, and we got to do a feeding. Our 5-year-old daughter LOVED hanging with the goats and chickens. Star gazing while enjoying s’mores was a perfect ending to the night. Highly recommend staying here on your next adventure!

Camping with animals!
We loved camping at Howe Ranch. Bixi and Spencer were the best and gave us lots of opportunities to interact with the animals. Our 12-year-old animal lover had the time of her life and was very sad to leave. We will definitely be back.

Spencer and Bixi have really thought of everything here.
We especially enjoyed the opportunities to feed the animals and tour the grounds where they live. Our 3-year-old was in heaven. She also loved playing in the huge sandpit area with the yard toys and extra toys available. The property is decorated adorably with thoughtful touches at every turn. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating—we truly loved our time spent here and would not hesitate to return!

It was a relaxed environment and Spencer was a great host. We enjoyed learning about the personalities of all the animals, from the specific chicken and goats that like to escape to the stubborn donkeys. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

This was my 4 and 1-year-old’s first camping trip and Howe Ranch made it the most memorable and fun weekend. Getting to be so interactive with the animals during their feeding time was such a beautiful experience for our whole family! The toys they provided were just the extra touch of care and hospitality that was so special to us! Already ready to plan a trip back!

Petting zoo camping!
Our family loved camping at Howe Ranch. Our kids, age 5 and 9, loved being a part of feeding the animals and getting to play with them. Spencer was quick to take them on a tour as soon as we arrived and welcomed.

Bixi and Spencer were great hosts!
Though they were out of town, their ranch sitter, Sam, was available to greet us and show us around. Bixi was always immediately responsive to messages, and she and Spencer quickly showed us how to turn on the heater and operate the hot tub. The ranch was decked out in holiday decor both inside and outside. It was such a cute and cozy stay, and so spacious! We had both bedrooms and the bathroom in the middle available, though we only needed one bedroom. We were provided the cutest NYE wine and little chocolates. The ranch animals were so fun to meet too! This Airbnb is such a steal and made us dream about having our own ranch one day.

Great place to go to with little kids!
Our kids loved the petting zoo and also the world of toys in the pool room. The jacuzzi is also a highlight. And the hosts are very hospitable. You really get a lot of privacy and the common areas are very spacious. And the decorations are beyond…quite a gem of a place.

Spencer was very welcoming when I had arrived and gave me a tour of the place and let me tell you…this place is a steal.
Very private, quiet and serene. This was so much better than staying at a hotel, staying with Spencer and Bixi felt like I was staying with some good friends more than anything. If you’re an animal lover and want some warm hospitality, then I highly recommend Spencer and Bixi’s place. It was a very nice stay, and I’ll definitely be staying here every time I visit the area.

The stay was perfect!
She was so kind and friendly! Everything was so clean and smelled really good! The bed was super comfortable! When I arrived, they let me feed the animals and spend some time with them! Everything was wonderful! So relaxing and beautiful views! I wanted to stay there forever! Big space! So easy to find! They were just excellent hosts! I loved it, and I will recommend it always! It was better than I could imagine! Thanks for letting me relax and enjoy like that 🥰.

We had the most incredible stay at Howe Ranch.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality. The highlight of our visit was hugging and feeding the farm animals. We fell in love with Buttercup and Flint, the fluffy mini cows, the baby goats, and the sweet donkeys. This farm stay is perfectly located to explore wine country, hiking, biking, shopping, and dining, or just unplug. The room we stayed in had everything you need and more—a super comfortable bed with nice down comforter and bed linens, that made us feel at home. The room also included a mini-fridge, coffee maker with coffee and fixings, a microwave, a spacious desk and chair, a TV, as well as a balcony with stunning views of the city lights and the mountains. We also enjoyed breakfast concessions in the "Bistro" and the club room, which is a cozy space for the whole family. Thank you for this amazing experience! We will return.

Bixi was an amazing host, very sweet, accommodating, and great with communicating. We felt right at home. The atmosphere was very cozy and cute; we loved the bistro area. There was a beautiful view right out on our private porch from the bedroom, perfect for a sunrise or sunset. It’s also a must to take advantage of cooking on the charcoal grill by the pool and jacuzzi. This was a very relaxing, peaceful, and inexpensive stay. I can’t wait to return in the future; hopefully sooner rather than later. Highly recommend booking here! :)

The Howe Ranch was an amazing spot for my team-building activity/party!
The hosts reached out and gave us information on what to expect along the process. The setup is great, with multiple areas that can be available to use depending on your needs. We used the pool area and the game area the most, which were perfect for us! Spencer and Bixy went above and beyond to give my team a wonderful experience! I highly recommend The Animal Encounter—this is an activity my team will be talking about for a long time!

Amazing host, very accommodating.
Plenty of parking, shade, seats, and lounge area for all the guests. Enough pool toys, towels, and new bathing suits! The soda bar was a hit! The hosts provided all the decor for my daughter’s summer theme. Great private location! Book it now!

It worked awesomely for our theme. The hosts of the venue know exactly what works and have everything needed to host as well. And we cannot recommend the animals enough! They were the hit of the party for sure!

We recently attended an exceptional wellness retreat at Howe Ranch, and it was nothing short of magical.
This was our third visit, and each time, this modern farmstead never fails to amaze with its meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for both guests and animals. From the adorable mini cows and donkeys to their sweet little bunnies, playful chicks, and yoga with the goat babies, every aspect of the farm was curated to enhance our experience of tranquility and connection.
The afternoon was beautifully organized, encouraging mindfulness with activities like sketching and affirmation crafting. They provided farm-fresh herb-infused tea and fancy cupcakes, goat milk soaps, and refreshments, even guest swimsuits and towels, because it ended up being a hot day we wrapped up in the pool!
Howe Ranch truly goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. Seeing new animal babies and revisiting the thoughtfully designed spaces was a joy. If you're looking for an stress-free escape into nature with therapeutic animal encounters, I highly recommend Howe Ranch's wellness retreats.
